Replacing passenger rear side door chrome molding 2011 ML350
Hi Guys,
Today when opening the rear passenger door we heard a creaking sound and found it difficult to open the door. Then we discovered the molding had come loose and was getting pinched against the front door causing it to pry off more.
Questions:
- How do I remove this piece to replace it with a new one?
- The parts diagram indicates removal requires removing something from the inside?
Thanks

I do not see a reason why you should have to purchase a brand new part.

How about you pry the loose portion a bit more open (gently and carefully), clean it real good and get some good epoxy, apply the glue, open the front door and clamp it for 24 hours so it can set real well and you should be good to go.
