How do I look up Existing Service Campaigns on my MB

How do I look up Existing Service Campaigns on my MB
Ok I have a 2008 ML350 W164. The battery went dead and the auto lift gate will not work. I think the lift gate program needs to reprogrammed. However it look like there may be a old MB service campaigns on the lifegate where the battery goes dead and the solutions is to reprogram the liftgate. My questions how did I look the service campaign on a MB. I know how to look up a Recall but not a Service Campaign. Sure nice if I can get MB to reprogram my lift gate for free since it sound like there was a issue with the lifegate program causing a drain on the battery. I have to go in for a real recall on this vehicle anyways for other things. Thank You.

I think you are overly optimistic on this. Mercedes dealers are under no obligation to perform these services for free ... unless vehicle is still under warranty. Most of the time these bulletins are indeed issued soon after the vehicle is manufactured and problems occur in the field and the vehicle is still with the original owner who is a regular service customer. They are not applicable to someone that shows up off the street with a 15 year old vehicle unless they are a paying customer.
The only perpetually free service comes from recalls, which are government mandated and apply only to safety and emissions issues.
There are about 90 pages of bulletins at the link above. It's easier to have a dealer search using your VIN to find information relevant to your vehicle. When you are there to purchase some service, say an oil change, they will likely do that for you.
The statements I've posted here are applicable to all dealers and all makes of vehicles, not just Mercedes.
