MB Newbie with ML350 CEL

Hello,
I just bought my first MB, a 2010 ML350 with 172k miles on the clock, good maintenance records and running very well. In my short time of ownership, I've had a TPMS failure light along with a left side marker light failure. I scanned for codes and found quite a few, mostly to do with the bad TPMS and the light failure. Yesterday, the check engine light came on. The car runs fine, no noticeable loss of power or strange noises. I pulled the codes and found nothing that looked related to the engine or emissions systems. I own Porsches and BMWs, but it looks like MBs are a different animal. Would appreciate any advice on how to approach the issue.
Regards--Jesse

What were the codes? ML's don't automatically bring a CEL with each code, at least in my experience. Did you scan again after the most recent CEL?

Just thought I would reengage on this thread. After getting the CEL the first time, I attempted to get whatever code might be responsible by scanning with several different code readers and I could find no codes which might be related to the engine. The codes I got pertained to the seat belt pretensioners (I wasn't wearing the belt when I sat in the seat for the scan), the TPMS and the Sat radio being inop. I cleared codes several times and after one of those, the CEL went off. The light has come back on and again, I can find no codes that could reasonably be responsible for the CEL. Cleared several times, but the light has not gone out. The car has 175k miles, but has been well looked after. Might have to break down and go to the dealer. Oh well.
