Uneven brake wear

1st time poster. Thank you for having me.

Just picked up a 2010 ML350 for my soon to be 16 year old. It seems to be in very good condition with just over 100k on the clock. Clean underneath.

Pulls to the left though. Two alignments later there is no improvement. Sat for a few hours after the first snow and there is uneven brake pad wear at all corners, shown by oxidation on the rotors. The fronts are the worst and they match. The rears also match but have less oxidation.

Wondering if this is just from a poor brake job by the previous owner, or does it point to a more serious issue and could it be contributing to the alignment issue? It does go straight under heavy braking. No pull then.

Here is a picture of the passenger front.

Personally, I would start with new pads and rotors and also make sure that the wheels/tires are properly/correctly balanced and inflated, .............................. see what happens.

I swapped the front tires, side to side and went for a quick test drive in dry conditions. The oxidation on the rotors is gone with what looks to be even brake wear. The car still veers to the passenger side though. I think it's going back to the alignment shop.
