2010 ML350. Last week installed brand new (Genuine Benz) Headlight Assembly units (Both Left and Right).
Works Great. Physically checked. Everything fine (High, Low beams, Marker lamp, etc..).
No error message on Dashboard.
When i ran scanner (iCarsoft CR-Max) - shows 2 fault codes (9069) for both lights. (Fault codes screen shot attached with this message). Same message with my friend's scanner (different brand scanner) too
9069 - No CAN message was received from Control Unit IC
I am curious what you learn! I need to replace mine and have noticed many different versions are available. I would like to upgrade if possible but concerned I will get the error messages you are getting. The 10-year special edition headlights from Hella or the LED conversions have my eye!
IMO if the codes are not causing any problems, I would ignore them.
