ECU Replaced w/issues
I had the ECU replaced on my 2009 ML350 4Matic and the transmission seems to be shifting differently. Not drastically, but noticeable to me. Can a new ECU change or impact how the transmission shifts?
Also, the Pre-Safe Inoperative and Cruise Control Inoperative warnings came on. Can I reset those two or does the combination of these issues require a trip back to the shop?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I recently was at the tuner to flash my eco to another 'map' (more HP + Torque) and the technician told me he would also reprogram the transmission to act correct on the new powerband. I don't know if he pulled my leg but yeah, it would seem another ecu can have different transmission settings.. ?

Star system reset of transmission shifting
With a Star System you can reset all the transmission shift points. So it is not surprising that a new ECU comes with new or different shift points. The good news is your car will be changing shift points as you drive more.
