Engine Sputters & Dies When Put Into Gear
About a month ago I degreased the front of my engine before replacing the brake booster that was causing an oil leak down the right front side of the engine.
I ended up getting some water (over pray) on the top of the motor.
After I started the ML320 I had a CEL which gave me a EGR/MAF sensor too small error.
All was perfect before this as I had replaced the y intake with new sensors as well as the EGR.
The CEL would go off at times and come back later.
Fast forward to today when I went to run some errands & started it up to notice the engine RPM dip then steady.
I let it run for a bit & all seemed OK until I put it into drive and went to drive out of the driveway when the engine RPM's kept dipping until it just died.
Tried several times & it ran OK (for the most part with some dipping) when in P but died when in gear.
Used my Foxwell & when I cleared the codes, while the engine was running, I could notice a difference in sound and the engine would run better but then the code would come back.
I have attached the code sheet via a PDF.
Could this all be the DPS needing a change?
PS also got this code
0105-008 Stored Check component B5/1 (Charge pressure sensor). The
atmospheric pressure between component B5/1 (Charge
pressure sensor)
Cheers for any input.
