Which Plugs? NGK or Denso?

My M273 has 110k miles. It will soon be time for new plugs and I'm seeing NGK platinum PLKR7A (what I have now) as well as Denso Iridium IXUH22 and Denso Iridum Tough VXUH22.

Any thoughts on these? I'm not expecting any great difference in performance, unless people suggest otherwise. Right now, I can buy the NGK's and the Denso's at essentially the same price. Anyone know what the 'tough' ones are? Car runs beautifully and does not consume oil. Any experiences and suggestions welcome.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either. I’ve run both in different applications with no issues. If you’ve had great results with what you’re currently running, I’d just use those again. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks. Its interesting that you can now get iridium plugs at the same (if not lower) price at platinums, noting they're on sale ATM. I'm not expecting anything other than a longer service life out of the Iridiums but was interested to see what the experiences of others were.

Yeah I haven’t run anything but Iridium’s for a while now. Even on my 1230 HP Camaro, I can go years on the same set of plugs. Changed them recently just because I felt guilty lol!
