Any I can get my grubby hands on
Rear Diff Ratio - W164 ML500
Apologies if this is already in the forum archive, but i couldnt find much on a search.
How can i find out what my diff ratio is on my W164 ML500?
Are front and rear diff ratios the same?
Ive snuck a camera up on top of the housing of the rear diff and most of the sticker which specifies part number and ratio has long fallen off.
According to Partsouq, the part number for the rear diff housing, at least is A164 350 03 14 - the ones that i've found online that nominate a ratio seem to all be 1:3.7 - but i dont know if that is the ONLY ratio that comes in that housing number?

3.7 is indeed the correct stock gear ratio for the ML500. It was the only option available for the ML500 according to the brochure. Front and rear have the same gear ratio.
