Scanner ICARSOFT MBv2 vs V3

My scanner is the ICARSOFT MBv2 that I've used on a new to me 09 ML320 with OM642 after replacing the main battery. I've not been able to clear all of the fault codes, some seem to be stored as Historical, i.e. camshaft Hall sensor internal fault (152300) or Historic D40C No CAN signal from control N47/5 ESP, BAS control module. There are NO fault lights or CELs. Can the MB V2 clear these?
If yes, guidance please, if no would the MB v3 work better? Are there advantages to upgrading to MB v3?
Best Regards
Ron

Can't opine on the iCarsoft V2 versus V3, but when I replaced my OE battery, it had died during a cold weather period, throwing many codes. As I recall, I had to do 4 iterations of code clearing before all returned to normal.

The V3 if I recalled correctly mainly just support new models and all a big one but not useful for what you need it for, which is variant coding.
