Doors locks
Hello everyone,
I have a 2008 ML 350 that has recently started unlocking its doors by itself while I'm driving. I had previously set the doors to lock automatically when the car reaches a certain speed, but I turned that feature off to see if it would stop the unlocking issue. Unfortunately, it continues to unlock while driving.
I haven't connected it to a scanner yet, as I wanted to gather some insights first. I did check the car battery, and it's currently at 12.6 V. I'm not sure if that's too low, but there haven't been any warning lights or issues.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what might be causing this? Thank you!

Scan your car first with a suitable MB capable scan tool. Each door has a module that youll want to scan for codes. You're right to start with battery voltage as you cant accurately diagnose with a scan tool if the voltage isnt at least 12.6v with no load and engine off and 13.7v engine on. Many modules go nuts at the smallest drop in voltage and send codes as a result.
