2011 ML350 W164 OEM speaker replacement
Is the replacement process destructive for an OEM replacement? Do I need to drill out the rivets as mentioned in this video?
Or can I just unscrew the 4 black screws on the face of the speaker?

The speaker is glued into the support with foam. So you would risk damaging the speaker when trying to remove.
It's pretty easy to drill out the rivets. I just then rivetted it back in. The biggest lesson is to tape the back of the rivets to stop them falling into the door.
