I seen a bunch go through, mostly were 500s going to China. I believe all 500s bound for China get the Hybrid hood or so it seems. I did see a few 350s with it so I may have seen some Canada vehicles in the mix.

I'm glad I got my '11. Exterior still hasn't grown on me for W166. Front end looks like VW Taureg and I can't stand the rear end. I'm sure technology on it will be better but being first model year I will avoid it until few years down the line. I may consider it when my lease expires.

I disagree with most of you above... To my taste, previous 2011 ML looked too cute with a weak front end. 2012 front end is more massive and looks more like an SUV for a man...
I don't see any ressemblence with MDX and KIA. These SUVs look like round soap in the shower with no distinct lines, made of mix of plastic.
Interior of new 2012 ML is friendly to use (unlike 2011) and almost perfect. New 2012 ML will be one of the hottest best sellers, right from the start. Overall is outstanding upright design. The only part I'm not crazy about is rear lights. They don't have MB classy look.

The new ML's front end is still a little weak and bland, namely for an M-B, but on the other hand, it's clean and simple (which when done right and dynamically, is a great thing), and a HUGE improvement over the outgoing model in every which way IMO.

Have you ever seen an E-Class parked next to a Genesis? I park next to one, and my car looks like a hard-carved, dynamically sharp sculpture next to a bloated and bland bar of soap. With M-B's, it's always in the precision and refinement, otherwise, yes, many cars can resemble them and vice-versa.
