euro delivery?
dealer told me today that ml350's are built in alabama and european delivery is not possible, true?

That is true, Tuscaloosa County, AL, for the ML, GL and R-Class. US is the biggest SUV market, so Mercedes and BMW both build their's here.

If they were built in Germany, the first digit of the VIN would be W.

Those built in Alabama (all of them) have 4 for the first digit.

They were built in Austria during the W163 years for a few years but not anymore.

BMW does offer factory delivery for the X5 but of course that's a BMW, not a Mercedes

Yes, BMW has factory delivery for the X5 in South Carolina where they're made, but not Euro delivery, unless you live in Europe.

No. Vehicles built in Alabama for the American market have a 4 and the others have the W.
