It was also listed as delayed on "Build Your Vehicle" on the website, but it is now selectable as part of the Dynamic Handling Package, as is the Lighting Package. Not sure if that means it's already in production.

Me velociraptor,
Are there any xenons at the plant? Any chance of an earlier arrival on the lighting package?
Greg, would you please comment on your experience with the Airmatic suspension? Now it is a part of the $5150 Dynamic Handling package for the 2012 model. I was thinking about skipping this option to save money , but most importantly to avoid potential problems (there were quite a few issues with the airmatic in various MB models,) since I intend to keep this SUV for many years. Would I miss a lot without it??

I like it a lot, but haven't driven the steel-sprung version to directly compare. From a complexity standpoint, there is a lot to go wrong, which occasionally does. I had the compressor and wiring harness on my '06 replaced under warranty @ 34k miles and again at 39k along with its relay and the central charge valve. It's been okay for the past 20k, but I wouldn't trust it to go another 20k w/o issues.
I think the system, especially with the new Active Curve System (dynamic anti-roll bars), is a boon for comfort and handling, and hopefully quality control has improved, but it's probably not worth the risk unless you get an extended warranty that covers it and sell it before that is up.
