2011 E350 4m, 2011 S550 4m, 2012 ML350
Looked at the 2012 ML diesel at the dealer the other day: first time in person. Looks better than the pictures and also bigger/heavier than the 2011.
Porky would be the right word.
Interior looks damn cool.
The whole package a bit bigger than I need, but open-minded if price is good.
The salesman said there is no incentives as all the MLs are "pre-bought"
Guess it means they are sold before they hit the floor.
Started bidding on a Cadillac V-series Wagon on e-bay today instead.
(new but 2011 model).
Different animals, but if the price is right, I'll take either..

In regards to CTS-V wagon vs the ML, if you don't need AWD go for the V, it's a completely different/unique vehicle. Diamond White with tints

haha +1 for that ... I just came from a 2008 ML350 and this is so much better in terms of handling, power, interior and exterior. It turns heads wherever I go and I get compliments on it all the time but then again mine is riding on shiny 22"s might help too. Only gripe is the lighting package with xenon is not available until March of 2012. Anyone install aftermarket HID kit without any problems with flickering and errors?

22s are certainly blingy. It's all personal preferences and needs, but doubt I'd go bigger than 20" for functional reasons (comfort, unsprung weight, off-roadability, etc.).

Not sure what you mean by "looks weak". I think the new ML looks stronger from the front and weaker from the back than it's predecessor. Personally, I don't care either way. It's an SUV! I don't think any SUV is truly stylish. If I want to be stylish I'll probably drive something else from the garage that day.
Just curious, what do YOU drive when you want to feel stylish?
