I ordered the Edition 1 package (priced at 18.000 $) with Porcelain leather and black wood for my Ml350 Bluetec with designo nappa leather all over including alcantara roof lining. I also have Webasto heating system, DVD-system in the back and active curve system among other options.
I think I ended up ordering options for a total of close to 60.000 $ , with a total of about 240.000 $ .
Does not make sense not to go for all options when the starting price for a ML350 Bluetec is 165.000 $ (in Norway).

Yep, it´s US dollars! In Norwegian Kroner (NOK) it costs 1.440.000. Cars are heavy taxed in Norway, but then again we are one of the few countries in Europe that is not bust...
Anyway the cost of the car is the depreciation in value, not the price. Loaded ML´s holds their value very good. I expect a value loss of 30% for 3 years

I'll tell you what... I'm SO ordering that wood cup holder cover when it is available... that's the one problem I have with the ML... that cover looks cheap in rubberized plastic

Finally took my wife to see the ML on Sunday; she really like the interior. Except for the plastic cup holder cover and I agreed. It felt out of place to us, in an otherwise well appointed interior.

Any idea, when/if all all, this may be available? Hell, I'd order it from another country and pay for it.

If it becomes available, great. I think it would be a small but nice upgrade - as I think it should have been there in the first place.

That's good to know. Thank you. Wonder why they would add something like this a year and a half later after launch as opposed to being on the model in the first place.

That is the Edition 1 interior, which both MBUSA and MB Canada passed on. Notice how the wood wheel doesn't match the wood trim - bleh!
For Canada, MY12 ML63 will have designo leather standard (not quilted) along with the Dinamica (alcantara) headliner. Optional on 550. MY13 will bring full designo availability (all engines).
