2012 MB ML350 BlueTEC - On/Off Road Package
Seems like a great feature set, as long as it's not too cost prohibitive.

Hopefully MB will have the lighting package and supposed pano roof availability fixed by then.

European Delivery for the USA?A UK sporting magazine just reviewed it and said its off road capability was within 15% of the cherished Range Rover.
You should see MY13 MLs on lots in late August.

I recall David Davis photo of the underside of the original ML and the ensuing fallout.

Having said that, I would love to get the off road package.
Does anyone know how much this package costs? The off-road package includes the airmatic suspension too, correct?

So, no, it does not include Airmatic, though it may in the US. Airmatic is an additional €2,023. It does have a diff locks, though, which is good. I would guess US price would be in the $2k range without Airmatic.
Actually, reading through the German options and their prices will make you feel really good about even paying list price in the US. We get way more for way less.
So, if we want the adjustable suspension that will be an additional cost to the off road package? That's disappointing. I thought the point of the off road package was to make the ML on par with the RRS and such.

So, in Germany you pay:
O&ORoad - €2,260 = $2,890
Airmatic - €2,023 = $2,585
DH - €3,689 - $4,715
Total = $10,190
In addition, the base BlueEFFICIENCY model is $72,480, and that doesn't even include the sunroof at $1,765 and probably some other things.
These probably include VAT, but I'm not positive of that. In comparison, we pay $5,150 for Airmatic, Dynamic Handling and 20" wheels; in Germany that's $9,200! Consider yourself lucky.

I'd definitely pay ~$5k for the off-road/airmatic suspension though.
