Blue DEF and pre-paid service
I purchased the pre-paid service for 50,000 miles (with an additional discount). Now that I'm approaching the first 10k service, I wanted to see if Blue DEF is included.
After calling the dealer they said it is included. But, I've read other posts to the contrary. I'm not trying to be cheap but I don't want a big bill for Blue DEF that will cost $16-30 elsewhere.
Who has had the their first service with a 2012 and knows if it was included or not? Also is this part of the overall service contract or dealer by dealer?
Thanks.

If you are talking about AdBlue, read the contract you purchased.

I would expect pads & rotors & belts, etc. to be covered by a wear & tear weasle clause somewhere in the very fine print.
Replacement and Change are the operative words for the dealer actually providing materials and labor. In the case of the automatic transmission, they may or may not include the torque converter.
My Volvo dealer gives me a print out of brake pad and tire tread thicknesses everytime I show up. It obviously isn't a big deal.
