I have no idea, monthly payment seems higher due to the residual being low. Not sure, wanted to confirm by others in the market for a similar car because I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on it.

Your residual is wrong. Go to Edmonds.com lease forum, Where you will find all the info. also check Lease Guide.com, where you will find tons of info. about leasing. Do not lease until you get all the necessary info. for a better deal. This is for anyone who is thinking about leasing, Never put any money down in hopes of getting your monthly payment lower. You will not get your money back if your car is totaled. Ask your dealer ( members advise ) if Mercedes has MSD ( Multiple security Deposit ) program like BMW, where you can put up to 7 payments in advance ( You will get this money back at the end of your lease ) to lower your Money Factor. As per BMW MSD program with each MSD deposit your M F will go down, example if your initial M F is .00155 with your 1 MSD your M F will go down to .00145 and so on.

Regards,

2012 ML350 4MATIC (GAS)
My lease is $155 cheaper/mo. Almost the Same options (MBTex and no RSE). The only difference is 10K miles @ 30mo. My residual was 65%. Your residual should be between 62-64%

A good thing you checked here first because their numbers seem to be off.

Thanks guys for the help. I finally pulled the trigger on one. Different residual and different cap cost, we went back and forth but got it just in time for Valentine's Day. Monthly payment did come out to $795 though, but the dealer did provide a shorter lease and included the service pre-pay as well. Walked out of there with only $2500 down. Sound better now?

I didn't want to be a complete jerk and not thank you guys for the assistance. Hopefully I got a good deal haha.

Numbers?

Pls post your cap cost, msrp and residual.

$795 sounds really high, even if it's 24 mo. You could get into a GL for that much...

Bi-Xenon lighting package should be Option #1. Unless it is included somewhere on your list.
Never leave home without Bi-Xenon lighting.

@Venchka

That option is delayed and to be honest it doesn't matter to me if it has it or not. Since it's a short lease it doesn't make a big difference.

Bi-Xenon 350 Gas and Diesel models are Sold Order Only at this point due to the 550s and 63s having them as standard is taking the limited supply of the headlights at this point. Should ease as the factory who makes them for us is getting back to normal production very soon.

Merc-Skycap offered a penny for my thoughts. To date, my thoughts are free & worth more than they cost.

Having to switch back and forth, Halogen-Xenon-Halogen-Xenon, I can assure you they are worth waiting for. Unless you only drive on brightly lit urban streets or brightly lit motorways in Belgium and you have no running, darting, popping up out of nowhere large critters in your path.

The Bi-Xenons are optional on the 550 according to the MBUSA website. I understand the are prioritized for that model, though.

You are correct, looks like my notes failed me from launch training, our trainer told us that Bi-X would be standard on all V8 powered ML, must have been a running change up to the launch.

Honestly guys I do understand the value of the lighting package but wherever I asked I had been informed that it was delayed and that dealers were expecting many 550s w/o it as well. Mercedes has a habit of having a couple things miss here and there within their first year production models. I experienced it with the C63 and now with the lighting package issue on the new ML. Therefore, considering it's just a lease and the time it took to find the right color combo, packages, etc. I decided to take it. It was one of only a couple in the States.

Just to update you all as well, I lucked out a bit. I was put in touch with the Gen Manager since the original deal fell through because of a mistake made by the Finance Coordinator (they give these guys very fancy titles) and was asked to come back in to re-do the deal. Long story short, thanks to you guys for helping I was able to get a better deal (since this time I had the car). 5k down, 24 months, and only $579 per month including tax and fees. Honestly it made up for the lighting package and makes things much more manageable financially. It's not a great deal but much much better than what I was being offered earlier don't you think?

I'll post up some pics soon

Enjoy. Leasing is out of my vocabulary. I get it. Start planning the replacement with the lighting package.

Thanks Wayne, haha yeah leasing is not for everyone I totally understand. As per the replacement I'm waiting to see what Land Rover has in mind for the new Range Rover Sport.
