Old post but I just bought a US 2015 ML400 and looking into changing my headlights from amber to white. Anything new on this front? Part number for direct swap? Anyone actually try to open up existing headlamps to change bulbs? Any new info would be helpful.

Just be aware that you can fail inspection if your change your turn signals white in your state depending on the wording of the inspection checklist, and may make you susceptible to being pulled over in some states if front turn signals aren't amber.

The turn signals are still amber. It’s a separate light. It’s kind of like a Daytime Running Light except it it’s not on in the daytime. It also removes the amber corner reflector as well which makes it look a lot cleaner.
