Installed Nerf Bars, in lieu of running boards

We bought our ML w/ tow package, but none came with running boards. MB dealer parts dept says that 2012 running boards is not in stock yet, & they don't even have pricing, but guess it's around $900, plus around $400 to install.
Well, my wife is pretty short & needs some help getting up into the ML.
Bought this chrome nerf bars, $189 free shipping no tax. Spent an hour to install.
Not perfectly integrated like factory running board, but does its job...
