The lights were worth the wait

We picked up our new ML about a week ago after waiting an extra 3 months to get the lighting package. Last night was the first time I have driven it in the dark and the lights are amazing. Super bright. Not to crazy about the auto high beams but the cornering lights are amazing around corners. I am anxious to see how they work on a rainy night. I would highly recommend the lighting package to everyone. The front end also look ten times better in the day than the standard look with the regular lights.

That is good to know. I was going to order a 2013 just to be sure of getting the lighting package but I found a 2012 ML350 BlueTec with the lighting package at a dealer about 100 miles away. I asked my local dealer to see if he could swipe it from them and I am waiting to hear back. The lighting package is an absolute necessity where I live in the country - no street lights for miles and lots of deer!

Congrats on finally getting yours. I have to agree that the lighting package is a must, and it makes the ML stands out a lot more than the non lighting pkg assembly. Like I mentioned in another post the output is bright and coverage is even. I've got high-beamed once from on-coming traffic signalling it's too bright. I simply flick my high beams back telling them that was my low beam.

Now cruise with the fiber optics + lower LEDs during the day for the extra attention.

I totally agree. It only took about 30 seconds with Bi-Xenons to know I will never buy another vehicle without them.

If you pay close attention you'll notice the lights self adjust left/right, and up/down during startups. Compares to most that just adjust up/down.

I especially love them during foggy nights when it adapts to your steering angle.

You're kidding. You don't know?

Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination
Adaptive Highbeam Assist
Corner-illuminating front lamps
Headlamp washing system
Don't leave home without them.
