ML350??
Hi everyone! i am in south Africa and the order book for the New ML is opening tomorrow! i am quite interested in the ML350 the 250 seems a bit under powered. People who have purchased the car, are you happy? with comfort and everything as an all rounder. thanks!

Given the stalling problems with the petrol and bucking/jerking with the diesel (and puddle lites that didn't work and low rumble @ 40mph and this and that still needing to be fixed), I'd wait until they get all of the bugs worked out. A Yugo might be a more reliable option.

Not at all. Since our last Benz my wife and I have had 3 Subaru's, 2 Toyota's, and 4 Lexus's. We'd hoped Benz had improved from a quality perspective in this time, but they clearly have not. Not in the quality of the build and not in the quality of dealer service. Coming back to Benz has been a huge step down in terms of quality and reliability from any of these previous vehicles. The ML drives great, but the continued problems and safety concerns make me want my wife's 2007 RX back.
Hopefully MB will catch up one day, they clearly have not done so yet.
