Your favorite ambient light color
I was playing around with the ambient light color settings tonight.
I really like Polar (blue), but I'm favoring Solar (amber) since it seems to be more cohesive with some of the other lighting on the dash.
For those that have the interior ambient lights, what do you have yours set to?

For those of us without the new ML, can someone post some "real life" photos of these different colors?

Unless someone else has them handy, I'll try to take photos tonight.
The color is changed via the multifunction display control ... Settings > Lights. You can also adjust the brightness there on a scale from 0 to 5.

I think the blue looks really cool and futuristic!
What color are the switch lights inside the car? Are they all orange color like past MBs? Does this look odd against the non matching neutral and cool colors?

Blue does look a little odd against the white instrument colors. Also doesn't mesh well with tan interior we have. Amber and white go good with our interior.

The ML-63 Control Panel Lights are blue. Hence the blue ambient light can be a good match.

You mean to say the switches such as lock doors and heated seats are white lights instead of the traditional orange on pretty much every other MB?

I'm really feeling the blue as it feels like a night club. Amber works well if you want everything in the interior to match, but it's a little boring for me since we've been used to cars with amber lights on the dash for decades now. I'm not too sold on the white because it's semi similar to the amber switches, but slightly different so it doesn't look like it matches but it's trying to match. That's why I like the total opposite in blue or matching in amber.
