A Service Question

My 2012 ML will be a year old in September. The computer says B service due in 60 days. The car has 7K miles on it. It's weird because I never had the A service and it has never been to a dealer except the day I picked it up. Can it be reset properly? Or will it always be off? Thanks..

While at the dealer today we looked at a new CL. Brand new. When we started the car it said "A" service due over 30 day's. Go figure.

As I understand it, A & B are a service levels, and not chronological. There may be no A service required. I need to look at my service booklet when I get home.

Guess they could sell the car for nix if you promised to get it serviced at that rate.

My service rep told me "somebody must have reset it" and it cant be set back. This is not a big deal but when you buy a Mercedes you expect perfection.. I'm sure there has to be a fix for it.

I would guess its been in inventory for over a year. The flexible service system will call for service on milage or time depending on how the vehicle is driven. If it is a low milage car it will call for service based on time since fluids etc degradate with time.
