I am not sure how this will really look or if its worth it?

Opinions?

If you have the option can you turn it off?

For about 300 it is a no-brainier. Plus you get illuminated kick plates. Very under priced package by MB.

My wife loves it. It gives you a nice feeling when driving at night. There is 3 different levels you can set it at. We keep ours all the way up. You can also change the color. I believe that you can turn it all the way off if you wanted. The illuminated door sills also give it a classy feel when getting in. I would recommend

Highly recommended. It is the second most talked about feature by my night time passengers - second only to the awesome Xenon lighting package. Don't worry about on/off option because you will never turn it off.

I believe it's 5 levels of brightness and 3 different colors. The whitish color doesn't seem to show to well in my opinion though. I've just been leaving it on the color matching the rest of the interior lights.

Yes, 5 levels plus off, and Solar, Netrual and Polar colors.

Finally got my ML350
Ordered a 2012 ML350, panno roof labor problems held up construction and delivery past final order date. Dealership rolled over the order to a 2013 for me and the 2013 was delivered on 18 August. It was a long wait, but really happy we hung in there.

One of the two must have features. The Ambient lighting system (looks brilliantly plush at night) and the intelligent lighting system (best bi-xenon lighting system I have used to date).

I agree with GMW... my brother in law has the Ambient lighting in his CLS and it looks awesome.. as to Bi-Xenon's, I will never buy a car without them. It is a great option and I have had it on every car I bought...

Yep, had it 5 weeks. Like it a lot; main dislike is the steering is too light, but that's something you can get used to.
