New ML 350 ordered
Greetings to all.....new member here. We recently ordered a 2013 ML 350 with delivery to be in late November or so. Not too loaded.....Palladium Silver, P1 package, wood steering wheel, trailer hitch, and lane tracking package. The deal seems fair at roughly 6% below MSRP. Thoughts?

Congratulations on what will be an outstanding vehicle for you - and a pretty one! I wanted a silver ML350 but when I saw the Diamond White I had to have it. Silver was the color of my last vehicle and I loved it.
One question I have, or maybe it is an observation, is that there are many delays being reported for the 2013s. I think the reason is that people are ordering vehicles with certain options that are in short supply. Your vehicle does not have any of the things causing delays, such as Pano roof, lighting package, certain leather trims, etc. In fact, it seems to me that your build is fairly standard and you should be able to find it right on a lot. I don't know how many MB dealers are near you but if you are in a METRO area you could probably find just what you want right there or they could find one nearby.
I was not too particular either. I wanted the lighting package, diamond white paint and the P2 package - everything else I could take it or leave it. They found one like I wanted in short order just coming off the assembly line and I had it in a couple weeks. I guess what I am saying is your build is a popular one so I don't know why it would take a couple months to get one. Then again, I know some people have waited over six months! As to your price, I think you did very well with 6% below MSRP for a 2013. Good luck!
