It seems as if there is something new to learn about this car every day. While perusing the owners manual I came across "Steer Control". Apparently if you have two wheels, on the same side, on slippery ground when you brake or if you go into a skid the steering wheel will give a "noticeable steering force" in the direction to correct the skidding problem.
