Hot Test
On touching the handles the keyless entry did not work, on the drivers or rear passenger door. The key fob worked so I was on my way. The Keyless operation functioned perfectly afterwards.
Other than that, I was pleased with the relative cool in the car after 30 seconds with the a/c operating. I feared the Palladium would get hotter than the old Iridium, but no. Perhaps the grey seats were not as bad as the black in the 164.

I do already have a tint on the side windows, and that may contribute to why the closed car was not that hot inside. But the clear film on the windscreen does have me intrigued, I presume being clear it is legal.
I had the IR reflecting glass on the W164 and was annoyed to find it is no longer available.

So I checked the manual and failed to find any reference to 24 hours, but I did find your body acts as an aeriel.
Then it dawned on me... In those four hours, I had been undergoing nuclear scan tests and I was probably emitting enough radiation to disturb the signal. As time passed so did the radiation, so the Keyless worked again.
Maybe some radiograrher or electronics expert can confirm or destroy this theory.
