What are Current Incentives? ML almost here!
The ML be delivered this weekend to dealership where I will inspect and purchase. My deal at time of order was $X relative to invoice, plus incentives at time of purchase.
I don't qualify for USAA or any programs like that. Nor repeat MB buyer.
I do qualify for Conquest (if there is any now). Not sure what else there is... Anyone have a list of current incentives/cash/rebates/etc? thx

A.next months conquest is more and they want to give me this months 1500$ and keep the rest.
B. they got the car and it came in wrong(one of options missing?) so they want me to fully commit to the purchase without seeing the car.
Either way dont look good for me...
Anyone has opinions on what should i do?

Hmm, i think I got a bad situation going, i was supposed to take delivery of my car last weekend, i signed the purchase contract but now the dealer is telling me its been delayed. My deal is x% off MSRP plus 1500$ incentives for this month. The strange part is that they are really pushing me to pay now, because next month there will be no conquest available for ML(sounds like BS). To me this sounds suspicious...I see 2 possibilities:

1.) The deals and rates during the winter event are the most aggressive of the year
2.) The deals on the 2013 GL's may not get any better ( I am also looking at a GL).
3.) He thinks that the ML deals will be stronger.
I would never sign the deal now. I would wait 2 days and confirm the conquest and rates for the winter event. I ordered a 2012 ML last September and it came in during the winter event and my deal got better, and MB even had something where if you financed with MB Financial, they made the first 2 payments! Not sure what is going to happen this year during the winter event, but I would highly doubt the deals are going to get worse. Let us know what happens!

2.) The deals on the 2013 GL's may not get any better ( I am also looking at a GL).
3.) He thinks that the ML deals will be stronger.

I think last year, conquest was at $2k in Nov.

What do you mean its been delayed?
In my auto industry experience, dealing with both corporate and dealer levels, dealers do not know what incentives will be next month.
My dealer sent me a list of options that the truck came in with so I don't waste my time driving down there. Ask him for a list that they can copy/paste to email or take a photo of window sticker and shoot it over.

WINTER EVENT OFFER | Mercedes-Benz of Reno Serving Reno, Sparks, Carson City, NV
Guess this dealer jumped the gun about the 2012 Winter Event deals, as I haven't found any others advertising this yet.
It says only until November 30. I wonder how things might change come December.

We are buying both an ML and an E class tomorrow!
Anyone know if there is Conquest or Loyalty this month?
Valid incentives that I know of:
Winter Sales event M = $1500, E = $4000
American Bar Association M = $2000, E = $2500
Will post after purchase and let you know if I was able to combine any offers.

The dealer I spoke with says no Conquest for November. It's been replaced with the winter certificate thing, but can't be combined with Fleet deals (i.e., that ABA discount).

Dealer says I cannot combine anything, but have seen claims of others combining loyalty with other incentives.

Just to clarify some confusion, dealers do not get to keep whatever incentive they don't give you. It is not their money and they have every reason to give you anything they can from a competitive point. That is not to say they don't make mistakes (both ways) and not every salesman necessarily has all the facts.

With just two months left in the 2012 selling season, Mercedes-Benz is looking to keep its sales lead over BMW in the United States with as much as $5,000 in discounts for “VIP customers.”
According to a memo to dealers obtained by Bloomberg, Mercedes-Benz is offering cash back on several of its 2012 models in order to help maintain its 5,221 unit sales lead over BMW. The incentive program offers as much as $750 off the Mercedes C-Class, $2,250 off the E-Class, $3,000 for GLK-Class SUVs, $3,275 for the flagship S-Class and $5,000 for GL-Class SUVs. The memo states that the deal “can be offered at the discretion of the dealership’s general manager to VIP customers of the dealership, business associates of the dealership’s employees and dealership employees’ extended family members.”
In addition to the discounts, Mercedes is also offering current owners the opportunity to skip as many as five monthly payments.
BMW announced a similar program last month. The Munich-based automaker is allowing current lessees to forgo as many as three payments if they turn in their vehicle for a new BMW model.
Mercedes-Benz and BMW have been duking it out for most of the year after BMW knocked off Lexus to become the U.S.' best-selling luxury brand in 2011. Although Mercedes trails BMW by just 5,000 cars in the U.S., the gap is much wider globally where BMW holds a 145,000 unit advantage through the first nine months of the year.
