Creaky Console
I have noticed that the console in my wives ML is starting to get very creaky. Mostly around where the cup holders are. The truck is only 6 months old. Up until now it has been very quite. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? We just went on a 4 hour road trip and it drove me crazy. I guess I will have to contact the dealer and see if they can do anything with it. Our 2007 ML was rock solid up until the day we traded it in.

The seats, console & windshield creaked and the rear cargo area had a clunking noise at the left rear seat back anchor point. The tailgate would also clunk and was re-aligned numerous times.
Thank God MB bought it back!

Creaky Console
My center console is starting to make annoying sounds as well. Just turned 10,500 miles. Otherwise car was quiet until now. Also I notice a rumbling/vibration sound when backing up. I'll get the dealer to look at it. Please let us know what they found to fix the noise, I'll do the same.

Creak Noise and Reverse noise
Yes My 12 ML 350 with 30,000 miles on it ( I drive a lot ) has encountered both noise issues.
CONSOLE: I noticed a lot of creaking from the cup holder area as well. On the last service, my dealer managed to address and fix it. They said they dis assembled the center console and felt taped every possible surface that could cause it. IT WORKED! No More Noise!!
REAR NOISE: When I first took delivery of the ML it had a very pronounced vibration and noise from the drivers side rear area and most pronounced in reverse. It was a known problem of the exhaust system needing to be re aligned and they have revised rubber hangers to attach the rear muffler. The re alignment fixed the problem
