Will 2014 ML350 has AMG-Body Package?

Will 2014 ML350 has AMG-Body Package?
I am thinking to trade in my M3 and get a ML350 this year.
I really like a design of ML63 AMG. However, I've driven V8 coupe since last 15month in Socal, and I think it is very gasguzzler and makes me tire when I use this as a daily commute car. I think 350 V6 is still fun to drive and save me some gas. However, I still want to get the 63AMG body...
New 2013 GLK has new AMG kit this year. So, I am guessing ML will get AMG-kit on MY14?

Even if the AMG body kit is offered on the ML350 in the US in the future (there has been no indication that this will happen), the AMG body kit on the ML350/550 is not the same one as offered on the ML63.

I can definitively confirm that yes, the ML350 will have the sports package as an option for the 2014 MY - this is based on a GM of WC MB showing me the MB internal letter stating '14 MY changes. As others have stated, this is not the ML63 kit, but the less aggressive one found on the ML550.
However, I don't know what the cost is or if it will be like the E Class, where it is a no-cost option.

Hey Nick,
From what I read, the silver and white colors are being replaced by a different silver and white.
And the biggest thing that was noted was the ML Diesel being replaced by a ML250 4 Cylinder turbo-diesel.
I was in the market for a ML myself but ended up going in a different direction a few months back. Now, we're back in the market for a SUV but I think we're going to wait for the '14 ML with the on/off road package.

Did you see any changes in the packages or technology? Was the 360 Surround View Camera listed as available? Or the new BAS PLUS Vehicle Safety and Accident Avoidance system?

Fascinating. I wish someone could post this memo about the changes.

Thanks for bringing it up.

I know exactly what you mean. I bought a 2013 ML550 instead of the 350 all because of the looks of the AMG body styling...even though it's not a complete match. The front and rear fenders don't flare out as much and its still has the 'neutered' exhaust instead of the cool-looking AMG tailpipes.
If they do offer it for the ML350 -- and I don't know why they waited -- I hope they don't make the running boards standard. I cost me $1400 to swap those out those useless things for the AMG trim.
I do regret how much more my fuel cost are now, though, versus the previous 2007 ML350 I drove...which had plenty of enough power for the pokey way I drive.

They would completely replace the 350 BlueTEC with a 250 4 cylinder? So basically 2 years with the updated 350 engine in the ML?

Thanks for the reply guys.
According to your replies... It seems we can expect ML350 sports package this upcoming july 2013? Did you have some written information? Or spy photos?

Attached are some images of what it should look like (with and without running boards).
But the best way to enjoy it is to use the "360° driving experience" simulator on the Canadian MB site: http://www.mercedes-benz.ca/content/...nce.flash.html
However, the Cyprus site has more wheel sections (three vs two for the AMG sports package and then a couple dozen for the standard you can try on for size): http://www.mercedes-benz.com.cy/cont...nce.flash.html
I don't know why MB USA doesn't have this simulator....I think it's the coolest thing.

Yes. I've already seen the european and canadian models got AMG styling kit on 350 and 350BT. However, the problem is... Will the USA market has AMG package on 350 and bluetec models of MY13(2014 models)?
No spy photos needed....it should look like the US W166 ML550 or any Canadian or other international ML with the sports package (except for the ML63, which has different front and rear treatments). Hopefully, they will not make the running boards standard with this option like they stupidly did on the MY13 ML550.

Yes. There is a thread here that has the changes for MY14. 350BT is no more for the US though. Replaced by the 250BT

Please read the thread "confirmed changes for MY14" or something like that - it outlines all the confirmed model year changes for next year.
July is PRODUCTIO date for MY14 start-up - slect models will be available at the dealer 1st week September, might be pulled ahead to last week August.
However new model year diesels require additional Fed and Cali regulatory testing/approval - so diesels will not be available to my guess mid/end October at your dealers - tight availability like 2013.

2016 C450 AMG
Which is exactly the reason I'm going back to a Porsche Cayenne in December when my 2012 ML 350 goes back.
MB USA is just ridiculous at this point with how they handle releases, first they jipped on the xenon lights, then they jipped on Sporty AMG styling...Pretty dumb IMO when you have people that are willing to spend $$$ on certain options.
