2014 ML63 options/configuration
I have attached the attached list for the current order entry configuration options for the 2014 ML63.
Don't let page 3 of this list freak you out - it only shows "black leather" as a interior option is a system - the "real" interior options are shown on page #4 under options.
Order bank for MY13 ML63's was closed last week - meaning dealers cannot enter any new orders for the MY13 ML63.
That said, if you placed a order with your dealer for a MY13 ML63 - and that order with your dealer has not been confirmed/allocated with the factory - then that order between you and your dealer - if it does not have a confirmed factory PO and scheduled production date - then you need to sit down and discuss with that dealer what you and that dealer should do going forward.
2014 ML63 production schedule has not been set - MY13 ML63's with confirm factory PO's that are not completed before July MY13 production cutoff - will be given the option to be converted/re-confirmed to MY14 ML63's - and those converted orders will be at the top of the MY14 ML63 production list.
Based on the information dealers have at hand now - it is possible to configure a order for a MY14 - confirm with deposit to be at the top of the MY14 list for that dealer - however dealers do not know yet the MY14 base MSRP - which I personally to reasonably expect to change/increase 3%-5% over MY13.
MY14 ML63 order entry is already open - however without the final base MSRP - but ML63's are tightly controlled and entered orders only become factory orders when confirmed back from the factory and assigned PO# and assigned a scheduled production date. This part of the process is commonly called "allocation".
At this moment the factory cannot not confirm any MY14 ML63 orders for production - personally I expect MY14 ML63 production not be be much more than MY13 - personally I expect ML63 production to start late September - and fully expect ML63's will continue to be tightly allocated.
Keep the beat !
...plus, how frustrating or boring it would be for your passenger to be watching something that you, as the driver, can't see. Dosen't sound like a fun trip.
