2013 Passenger Seat Lumbar question

Hello --

I have a new 2013 BluTEC on order, (second decade of May build date) and I am trying to figure out the passenger seat lumber mystery.

I am told the only way to get ANY type of Lumbar control on the passenger seat is to order option 242, (passenger seat memory) for $365.

My 2010 GLK has a manual lumbar adjustment, but I am told the new ML's dont have anything unless you order that option.

Can anyone confirm with their own 2013 ML that there is indeed NO lumbar (manual or otherwise) on the passenger seat?

Thanks
Michael

man - you're killing me with a challenging questions.

MB order guide does not specific that lumbar is added with SPS Options 242.

However, your other option would be to add leather then add multi-contour

Michael you are correct. Option 242 will be what you're looking for. It is a special order SPC option, so you will have $250 added as well.

Can we say for sure that without either of those options there is no lumbar adjustment at all on the passenger side? On my GLK there is a lever near the center console side of the seat.

Thanks

Re-confirmed - on 242 you gt lumbar - or alternatively add multi-contour front seats for $100 which does not require adding leather - lot to love with multi-contour

I also have an E550 with Multi-contour divers seat, and I have to say, I'm not that impressed with it. I really wish the top half of the back rest tilted seperatly from the lower portion, like BMW's comfort seat.

The back massage seems pretty superficial to me, and really dosent provide any relief on a long drive, in my experience.

No lumber levers, even with P01 Premium 1 package it's not inlcuded, only drivers side. 242 or multi contour is the way to go. And I think fab means $1100 for that option.
