I have noticed that If I am on the speaker phone every one can hear me outside when parked in the car park...I do not speak too loud! Also you can hear music outside when parked.I have an impression that it is more that my previous E240 and other cars. I have the normal /Standard music system/command.
Has any one else have the same observation or am i just being picky!

It's pretty much the case with every vehicle with BT connected phones and a dedicated speaker. I've heard many a conversation as I have walked by various vehicles.

When parked and using the speaker phone - turn inside towards the center console - you don't sit and talk to the windshield - talking to your windshield is like someone talking to the front window of your house !

I think I was not clear in my sttement. It is a problem when I use the speakers of the car. The sound comes out of the door speakers.

and your e240 may not have as powerful speakers.

Couldn't you just turn the volume down using the volume control for the stereo? I've done that in different vehicles in the past and it helps to keep a conversation at an "inside voice" level. Also speaking towards the center console or steering wheel helps.
