Hi all,

- does anyone know the exact spec of the battery installed ?
- I hooked up a Battery Tender Jr. to the battery, it's been over 24 hours
and it is still in bulk charging mode. does anyone have any experience with this setup ?

I currently have a 2013 ML550 garaged in AZ for the summer with a battery tender hooked up. Plugged the tender in the night before we left for the airport and was surprised that the tender was still in the full charge mode the next AM and a bit warm to the touch. This scenario was weighing on my mind so I had a neighbor check on the unit 48 hrs later and he confirmed that it was in the storage mode and that the unit did not feel warm to the touch.

I use a tender on a 2006 CLS 500 and a 2008 ML550 for winter storage in Michigan and I have not encountered the situation described above. Don't kow what has changed with the 2013 ML 550.

@bigdog - yes it does. just need another reference point. perhaps I just need to give it some more time to complete bulk charge mode. Thanks!
