TPMS Settings
Now on to the problem. My tires when I took delivery were all at about 42 psi. With the new tire properly inflated to 32 psi, my low pressure warning light stayed on. Driving around the block and back to the tire store, the mechanic adjusted all the tires to proper inflation - 32 in front and 38 in back. Now the system is saying all the tires are low. Driving home, the tires heated up and when the back ones hit 40 psi, the warning for those went off. The fronts were at 36 and still "low" by the warning light.
I'm going to the dealer Tuesday to have the system reset that nothing should come on as "low" until it hits 30 psi. And I expect that this should be a warranty issue. (My embrace was not set up properly at delivery either and was reinitialized in the first week after I took the truck.)
Anyone else had this happen? Is there a way for me to reset this myself?
UPDATE: OK, I FOUND IT ON p. 409 IN THE OWNERS' MANUAL. I KNOW, ALWAYS RTFM BEFORE ASKING!!
