If some have followed my posts regarding the sore butt syndrome encountered with the contour seat bottom, through research I've discovered the seat bottom cushion is held in place to the frame with 4...2 per side (possibly more) clips located along the first outer seam where the bolster starts and are in line front to back.
If one presses along this line with the thumb these clips can be found.They are quite pronounced (about 2 " in length each) and for me with my boney butt are situated right where I sit...no matter how I adjust the seat I always end up sitting on these..especially the right side likely because of the extension of the leg to throttle...
I will voice this concern with MB when the car goes in for it's first service...apparently these clips may be re-positioned...what a relief that I may resolve this pain in the a**...
