My wife and I are about to order a 2014 ML350.We live in California. We are trying to finalize options and are not interested paying for something we don't need. I am totally bought into the lane tracking package with blind spot assistance. Our only question right now is whether it is required to purchase the Premium 1 package as a prerequisite for the lane tracking package. The MBUSA sight builder says you must, but some others (Cars.direct, true.car.com) say that Premium 1 is not required. We've talked to the local dealer, but I am not impressed by their integrity (typical car salesmen). Can anyone shed light on this question? Thanks

I just ordered one and did not try what you want but I think if you pay the $250 special order charge you can pick options, plus pick a couple things you did not know about. A search here should show some like MB tex dash, different wood, I got heated washer fluid for Mn but you probably don't need that.
