Mercedes and biodiesel
I was just on the MBUSA website, under owners I believe and it looks like there has been a softening on position. It says you can buy and drive a Mercedes diesel in Il with B 20. It gives some advice like ck oil level and use right oil and follow schedule.
As many forum members have said, buy drive and enjoy! Looks like date was 10/13 for this so it may have just come out. Anyway, first I have seen it on website addressing B20 as ok if you have to.

I cannot find it either now. I posted this Dec15 and a poster looked and found it and posted a copy of what I referred to. Now I cannot find the Mercedes info or even the original posts from them. It clearly stated Il owners could use up to 20% but to watch oil level.

Referencing mbusa.com - this is the official statement concerning B20 and other biodiesel:

General article Sept 2013:

I "think" what you are refering to is a Mercedes consumer statement for Illinois BlueTec where "occasional" B20 is OK (you still must sign a waiver) and note you can't let B20 sit in the tank for long/non-operative - if it was me, if I lived in Illnios, with all the funk B20 and poorly labeled pumps (and less/less B5) I would choose not-to-risk:

Thank you Fab. The last brochure is what I originally was referring to. Can't find it now but you did! Too bad it is such a confusing issue for owners, we trust the suppliers to provide a quality product. I hope different service recommendations are developed to put minds at ease. Here in MN we are supposed to go to 10% this summer.
