Headlight adjustment or installation issue?
Hi, the headlights of my ML350 (2013) with european spec has been reinstalled while fixing some issues in the front bumper. Since then the dipped-beam is not the same like before. I have already taken the car twice to dealer but the result is same: dipped-beam lights still show too close. So, I decided to adjust myself and the dealer even showed me how to do it. When I levelled up the dipped-beam, I noticed that actually the problem is that my dipped-beam particularly on the driver side looks like off the line, creating a kind of dark area between left and right dipped-beams (see the pics). At high speeds I cannot see anything in fully dark road. Has anybody got any idea what could be the reason? can it be the installation of the headlight or the bulb? Otherwise everything including long-beam works well and when I start the engine, the headlights carry out the standard up&down movements like any other bi-xenon lights. So, nothing is unusual otherwise.
Interestingly, the distance seen in the pics gets a kind of shorter when I start driving. the focus area of both headlights is just few meters away in front of the car
