I'm just stating facts on the engine type and dressing up the horribly designed fender. We had a 2012 ml350 and I couldn't stand how it looked bare. As a real car enthusiast, I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't get to drive a car with this power on a daily basis. It is a pleasant surpise to see what it can do. But it does suck on gas! At least I'll have this car for just 2 years enjoy it and move on.
You might have to keep it since they are replacing the 550 with a 400... I agree its a great motor, my mom has a 2013 CLS 550 and its an impressive motor. No V6 will have the growl of a V8.

I would think someone with an AMG car would know their Benzes a little better
Oh yea, sorry about that

Road Noise

I bought some 22" Lexani wheels last week and they look great, But when I drive on the freeway im hearing a lot of road noise inside the car. Did you hear a difference after changing the factory wheels. Also what brand of tires do you have?

What kind of tune did you get that brought you to 460hp?

Yes the Lexani tires on my 22" rims do make more noise than the stock 19" setup but it is really not that noticeable and still worth doing in my opinion. The ride is the same or even a little better. I love the car so much more with these wheels and they make the ownership that much better.

None. Someone here posted that some after market tuner Dynod the car before chipping and said its hp rating was closer to 460 vs the mercedes' claims.

So I really have to ask this:

Does anyone with the replica wheels from eBay have balancing issues? The 22x10" specifically.

I hate to say it but I seem to have this issue even after balancing the wheels twice on two different road force machines. From 0-55 its absolute butter... minute I hit 60 I get vibration they resembles out of balance wheels.

ANY insight on your experiences are most helpful. Thanks!

if you have the airmatic, the ride is actually quite pleasant even on sport mode. I drive in confort mode with the wife and baby in city, hwy is always on sport.. .when I am alone, sport all the way. it lowers the suspension about 1" so it looks nice
