Added laser jammer and detector..need info
I gotta say these two new pieces are the ultra of what's out at this time for detection and defense against radar and laser.
Anyways what I'm after is if anyone can suggest an ignition tap in the glove box fuse panel or proximity..? I currently have everything running hot full time but now with the bluetooth function of the AL jammer I feel it best to have these shut down with the vehicle. So far I have not been successful in finding an ignition only hot so any insight would be appreciated.
cheers

Have you considered to run a separate mini fuse block? I am assuming you have a few powers you need to run and probably you ll be adding other things in future
This is what I did when I added escort 8500, rear entertainment and rear camera because i needed 3 switched power circuits:http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pr...FSsQ7AodMyIA9Q
I mounted Painless 70113 fuse block in the trunk next to taillight but it can really be mounted anywhere. The best part is that you dont interrupt any of car power circuit since you will only use the signal from ignition and you wire the main power to fuseblock via battery. Btw I used rear 12v socket for signal in my car instead of ignition.
I bought two of these Painless 70113 kits, but only ended up using one so if you are interested i still have another brand new one.

Currently I have power tapped for
-Blinder
-Antilaser
-Escort 9500ix
-Bel STiR+
-iphone
-Blackvu windshield camera
I'd be interested in purchasing it from you but getting it here may cost more than it's worth...versus me purchasing local

, yes i think you are better off buying one locally. I am just too lazy to put mine on ebay. By the way i think they have other kits that come with more power circuits.I am actually only using 2 of the 3 circuits, as the 3rd circuit will be used for trailer hitch wiring.I have the rear camera/escort 8500 hooked up to circuit 1 and rear entertainment/ illuminated star connected to circuit 2, the 3rd circuit I left alone for future. Highly recommend Painless, quality is very good and easy to install. Also for the power/ground and signal there is plenty of wire length in the kit, but for the circuit powers I had to extend the wiring.

Your saying the 9500ci I'm installing in my ML63 won't be good for laser jamming? Its about 2-3 years old now. I was in TN last November and I cop pulled me over in my SL550 said I was doing 96 in a 70 but "gave me a break and wrote the ticket for 74mph only 4mph over. I thought he was full of it as my 9500ci never went off. He gave me a "break" becuase he just thought it looked like I was going fast, maybe he has that new laser?
