I just had the Passport 9500ci installed along with Mid City Engineering's interface in my ML550. It's pretty darn bad ***! Does anyone else have this in their ML?

Great Choice. I'm running the MCE module with a Bell STiR+ in my E550 and couldn't talk the wife into the same for her ML so ended up installing the new MAX for her instead. The ~$2000 price tag for all equipment and install was a bit too much for her to approve of. That and she typically changes cars ever ~18 months. The interface is awesome and love the clean, nothing visible, look of this set-up.
Depending on where you live and if laser is a prime revenue tool for your local PD think about a set of laser interceptors or the new AL Priority system. When properly installed they work very week against most Lidar units out there. Many saves attributed to my Laser Interceptors while living in SoCal. CHP almost exclusively used Lidar when I travelled. YRMV

Just make sure that you pay attention while speeding. A FB friend just got pulled over because his music was too loud and he didn't pay attention to his radar detector.

My Passport 9500ci will get installed at my 10K. All three of my LX570 units had them installed by the dealer.
I hope the Distronic and other electronics will not prohibit them from the install.

There's no issue with Distronic. I ordered the Mid City Engineering module and it's working perfectly!

You may want to do some research on the Laser Interceptor and Anti-Laser Priority. Both have a die-hard following and get rave reviews for performance over on the RDForum http://www.rdforum.org/forum.php
Cliff at Laser Interceptor has been the gold standard for years and I personally use the LI's on my vehicle. Now there is another very promising product on the market and competition is heating up between the two. I believe both companies have RDF special pricing as well so it may help to join the forum for research and price.

I have STiR+ and Antilaser Priority 3 heads rear/2 heads front...AL is THE best..have had them all...Blinder HP905 before AL..and LI also on Vette. Now I have AL on the Vette also..the new Lidar guns used locally and becoming more in force will only be jammed with the AL. Also a very aggressive company with updates and hardware additions..I'm also a member of RDForum and Radar And Laser forum..common knowledge LI is old news..
Two AL heads in upper grill..STiR+ behind grill left below star
Here is where I mounted the STiR+ controller and LED
Here is the AL controller although I use BT on my iphone usually...and the blue LED switch to the left in the pic is a kill switch for the AL..poor pics..very dark here now in garage

I find it amusing that on the US website, the Antilaser Priority is marketed as "the smallest and most powerful parking sensor system available"
The Canadian website is at least honest about what it really does...
