I owned the 2013 RX FSport. Too much plastic in the interior. The ride was also too soft with excessive body roll in the corners. Still think that the Lexus are the most reliable vehicles on the road.

I have a rav4 v6 which is fun to drive but does not have any luxury features at all, the other car is a bmws 3 series, which is also fun to drive but i feel the interior is very cheap, when comparing these 2 cars i feel like the lexus interiors is very luxurious with soft leather and quiet interior, now I did not spend enough time inside the ML350 almost a year ago when i test drove it and maybe i dismissed it immediately because the seats again looked hard and not as soft and luxurious as the lexus, when I was driving it I had already set my mind that I didn't like the car specially it becomes expensive pretty quickly.

This time, i want to go with an open mind and really try to get a sense of what you guys have said here. the reason for even considering the x350 is because you get most of the luxury features but at $10-12,000 less than the MB.

I will be leasing it so hoping to get a good deal. I also like newer stuff, so the whole thing about there being a new refresh means that if i buy now it won't have some of the new things that might come with the refresh.

The mdx is a good value car, i just don't like the dash and the new ones are having a lot of issues.

The ML350 also gets a lot of attention, so another thing to consider. The lexus however is common so people don't notice, but if you have a MB people think you have money. haha

I test drove the Ml350 today and went with on open mind, I am starting to really like this car, like you guys said the gear shifter in the column was easy to use this second time around and the seat adjustment was also alright this time around. This car looks absolutely beautiful from outside the outside and in the inside was well insulated too. For whatever reason the dealer did not allow to the take car on the interstate but in the internal roads I did not hear much road noise.

I don't know which options to select but this ml 350 gas version had blind spot monitoring, nav, backup cam, mb tex (is this faux leather) did not notice lumbar need to ask about it? and lane assist with upgraded HK stereo, heated steering and seats and was for about $59,000.

I really don't care about nav, but i need back up cam, blink spot monitoring, heated steering and seats and led headlights. can i just get with these options.

I also test drove the GLK which i though due to weight was more nimble but the back seat is pretty much useless if the front seat is set for a 6 foot person.

Also the dealer was saying about winter event special of $2000 cash incentive. Anyone here good with leasing that can help out with the negotiations.

Do MB offer MSD like bmws.

30 min later went to test drive the MDX,w which drove well, but too much wind noise and felt very cheap... its a good value for what they include however couldn't get over how cheap it felt inside.

You are right about the cheap feel in the MDX - and all other Japanese models, for that matter. Hard to beat the MB's for quality. Up here in Canada, there really is not much room for negotiation. The price is the price. But they will give you slightly better deals on things like maintenance plans, windshield plans, etc. even winter rims and tires. The inevitable $2000 incentives are aggressive to sell expiring model years, but there are no deals on the upcomg model years.
