ILS is instrument landing system. Unless you are flying your MB into an airport under IFR you won't need it.

ILS is intelligent lighting system. I want to convert the headlamps to the awesomeness I'm missing out on.. it changes the look of the whole car!

A gaggle of MB's
Sorry - can't be done - the wiring harness for each build is precisely what that particular build needs - and even with $5K in parts the wiring just isn't there

Another pilot on the board. I started to post something similar but deleted it.....

You're going to need a Garmin 530 and a radio or two along with a transponder. With a Mercedes you might just want to shoot for the G1000 glass cockpit. You might want to also check the MEL to see if anything else is required

Some guy did it but it was somewhere in the 3-4k price range. This really needs to be ordered from the factory, just wait till revision then you'll get the new led headlights with a trade in of your car!
I think I remember that even after install and programming by Mercedes there was still some problem with the lights? Just not worth it. But do a search it had been done

Cool reply. Yes, ILS is and always will be Instrument Landing System. When I first saw this thead I thought the op was having fun and making a joke about how fast his Mercedes was. Intelligent lighting my royal bottom. Find another acronym........humor, please.
