2015 ML350 Black/Black
Got 2015 ML350
Traded my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and 2012 C350 coupe on new ML350 today, great SUV and very different for me do drive after what I own. Anyway questions:
- I guess 91/93 for gas, which one do you prefer on ML? Asking not to save on gas, I drove same engine C350 coupe 100% with 93 but would it make difference on slower and larger SUV?
- Tires as ussually joke on any new cars including ML, which all seasons would you suggest as good? I am not going to do summer/winter anymore but did before.
- Floor mats/cargo liner, any place selling MB originals? I am OK with weathertech but always would like to compare my options and look first.
- Anything else you might suggest to the new owner? Any quality issues or recalls I have to pay my attention?
Thanks!

We almost did the same thing . . . traded in a '12 C350 sedan for a '13 ML350 Bluetec. Have enjoyed the ML a lot for long trips. Live in AZ so don't need the carpet protection as much as those in snowier climates. Mine came with Continental Contitrac tires and I got the Tire & Wheel protection package. So far have replaced several tires and one wheel under warranty. Don't have any complaints about the tires themselves, just the damn pot holes they hit. Can't help out with a suggestion on the octane as mine takes diesel. Have a little over 55,000 miles on mine and it's only had regular maintenance with one warranty repair having to do with the electric parking brake not releasing correctly. Will be trading it in a couple months for a '14 CPO so I can get the last year of the Bluetec 6 cylinder and also unlimited mileage warranty. (Need that!)

I got 7year/100k miles MB warranty and nothing else, don't like idea paying a lot for extras I don't use normally. Tires is Ok until winter time, it will be quiet dangerous to go on snow with this Conty model.

My 2015 ML TIRES
Changed the oem tires @ delivery to-"Continental Cross Contact LX20 with ECOPlus Technology". Excellent tire. Great ride, quiet and looong mileage rating. Go to Tirerack.com. This is the new #1 rated SUV tire. I have 3,000 mi on my set. No complaints. Averaging 28 mpg on my ML250BT. Excellent traction rated.
