Not my personal choice, but the wife insisted and....you know how that goes.
P-Zero Max Performance Summer in 295/40R20
For the size and performance-rating, it's the tire with the widest section and tread width.
At the last minute, I sinned and bought these in carbon-fibre.
I should be getting the complete order around the 4th of April. Hope I don't regret it, meaning I hope they fit.
Only thing I would be concerned about is the load rating, the 20x10.5 ET40 is clearly a rear wheel application that they have for the car applications. Typically the SUV application requires using a 20x9.5 ET55-60 and is usually a specific load rating for the ML, GL, R, GLS, GLE. Some might not think it is much too worry about, but in fact I have seen wheels that were car wheels on ML's crack and thankfully none ended with any tragedy, but customers were spending good money after bad. Just something to keep in mind.

Very good point. One that I should have thought about before ordering the wheels. Especially around here, the roads are so bad. My wife scrapped two of four rims on the X6 and I just know it was due to the potholes.
Damn, where were you before I ordered LOL?

Sorry, unfortunately it is a common mistake, so many wheels coming from China and many of the import companies ordering replica versions get a heavy amount of rear 10" plus wide wheels and many of the older cars use the same 8.5 fitment all around for rotation and the inventory is sometimes heavin on 10" plus applications that it seems easy enough to just sell them for the SUV applications, but in many cases the load capacity is slightly off, so there is a risk. Again I was only mentioning this as a precaution.
I appreciate you bringing it up. CARid made me sign a non-standard fitment form on Friday and I asked them to confirm that the rims are rated to handle the weight of a 2013 ML350 BT. Still waiting for news from them...I may have scared them off LOL

That is interesting that they would provide something like that for you to sign...interesting how these big companies are so quick to sell stuff based on price to make the items really attractive, but that kind of seems like a bad omen if they are willing to take your money, and promote an application for your car, but then at the time of delivery have you sign something releasing them from any liability for a non-standard application?
Quite honestly, I don't blame them. The rims I ordered aren't close to the width/offset of OEM rims, and at 295/40, the tires are pretty wide as well. It's not their fault if someone goes ahead and orders something so far off OEM specs, then realizes that they have to roll the fender lip or use spacers.
I did get confirmation of a ship date though, so I'm stoked.

Has anyone fit the wheels from the new GLE coupe on their ML? They're 20x10 front with 275/40's and 201x11 rear with 315/40's .I want to buy a set for my 2014 ML but I'm not sure they'll fit .
Anyone have Michelin Defender LTX on ML350 Bt with Airride?
I want to put Michelin Defender LTX 255/50/20 on my ML because I tow 7000 lbs and with tires inflated for max. load the Continentals wear down the middle. Are they quiet? Do they balance perfectly? My original set of tires from the factory Pirrelli scorpions would never balance. They put Continental LX and they balanced fine. They don't wear well for my use so want to go with the LTX but fear balancing problems etc.
Michelin Defender LTX 255/50/20 is the closest size to 265/45/20 from the factory in that tire. I am not concerned about clearance or speedo accuracy. Another Michelin the Premier LTX could be an option but the wear rating is less. Anyone with experience with either tire?
No rubbing or other issues. I'm used to minor rubbing at full lock left/right with non-oem stuff, so I was surprised when I experienced none of that with this tire/wheel combo. One thing I will tell you, the tires barely made it though two summers. The tires were literally slicks when I pulled them off the truck this past November to put the winter tires/OEM wheels on for the winter.
FYI, I dropped the rear by about an inch too.

I'm running 285/35/22's on the front and rear on my 2013 ML350 4Matic
Use these as my summer set and the stocks 20's with winter tires as a winter set. Huge difference and much more control over body roll.
Ok, so I finally installed the new wheels, they are XO VEGAS 20x10.5ET52 with Toyo Proxes 295/40, no issues at all, here are the pics, hope you like them...
