Ouch my windshield!!

I am really lucky today. Just cruising at the highway then PAK! something hits my windshield. Curse a few seconds then KAPAK! something bigger hits my windshield but this time I saw where it hits as it created a crack on the glass. So I cursed again and this time a little bit longer and louder.

There is no car or rig in front of me so not really sure where the projectile came from.

Is this repairable or do I need a new glass?

Looks like no one got hurt. That's good. If I were you, I'd get the windshield replaced.

you can probably get away with getting if fixed, if the impacts are not on the driver's side. If they are, you will need to get it replaced. For the second impact, it can develop into a big crack quite soon, so you should not waste time! Also, from now till you get it repaired (if you do), put a piece of transparent tape on top of the impacts. It will prevent dirt and humidity from entering, and the result once fixed will be much better.

I sent the photos to the MB stealer and they said the second impact with a small crack is not fixable so I need a new glass. They won't do the glass install but they will provide all the materials to the glass shop and it will be done in the dealership because of warranty purposes. Dammit that will be $200 off from my beer money. I wish all rocks are made of jello.
